ONLINE THREATS: PREDATORS

If the Internet enables our kids to access the world, it also enables the world to access our kids.  Online predators use a variety of means to connect, and entice, our children:

• Online gaming, both on PCs and game consoles, enables predators to make initial connections "just
   to play games".
• Chat rooms and instant messaging systems.
• Online forums, such as game forums, hobby chat boards, and such.
     • Depending upon the state, this can run afoul of child pornography laws!
