CONSULTING
Keeping up with the spiritual threats posed by technology and dealing with the damage that it often causes is a daunting task. Knights' Quest offers consulting services to individuals as well as to churches and other organizations.

IN-HOME CONSULTING
Knights' Quest can evaluate a family's computer system on site. Such an evaluation covers:

Search for evidence of involvement with pornography and/or predators

Search for use of file-sharing software
-
If evidence of involvement with pornography is found, such involvement is analyzed and characterized.

If evidence of involvement with predators is found, help is provided in contacting the authorities and explaining the technical details of the discovery to cyber-police.

Evaluation of the computer's security set-up and recommendations to improve security.
With the written authorization of the client, Knights' Quest will provide designated counselors or pastors with a formal report.

ORGANIZATIONAL CONSULTING
Knights' Quest offers two types of consulting services to churches and other organizations:
PREVENTATIVE SERVICES
Our preventative services can help an organization address the threats posed by technology before a crisis or scandal erupts. The types of services available include, but are not limited to, the following:

Staff training on the technologies and methodologies in use by pornographers and predators. Training also includes Bibilical instruction on resisting temptations posed by the Internet. This uses the SEX, KIDS, & THE INTERNET - For Professionals program.

Security assessment of the organization's IT system(s). This includes network, work station, device, and entry-point threat areas.

Congregational training via the SEX, KIDS, & THE INTERNET - For Parents program.

Assessement of the organization's Policies and Procedures.

Development of an organization-wide program to address the related areas of Internet safety and Biblical purity, to include 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year plans
CRISIS MANAGEMENT SERVICES
These services assist with the "damage control" needed after a church body or other organization experiences a scandal involving sexual sin, whether or not it is related to the Internet.
There are several goals of these services:

First and foremost, a demonstration of the power of Jesus Christ to redeem sinners by creating a comprehensive program for healing and restoration of a repentant staff/congregational members. This does not mean that what happened is "OK", or that the individual may continue in their previous role. It does mean that efforts will be focused on showing the healing nature of the Blood of Jesus Christ in the life of the individual and his family. A central goal in doing this is that we not shoot our wounded (when repentant).

For repentant individuals, development of a positive, controlled recovery plan that includes:
- Development of a personal and technological accountability system.
- Entry into appropriate counseling and support groups.
- A plan for assisting the family of the individual during this time.
- Development of a milestone plan for recovery, to include return to vocational ministry.

Guiding staff and lay leadership through the crisis. This includes assessement of IT and management systems, education on the nature of temptations that lead to moral failures, unique vulnerabilities to those in ministry. Accountability systems will be developed with the staff to minimize future similar situations, where possible. A thorough review of applicable Policies and Procedures is included. In addition, Knights' Quest can assist with dealings with the media, especially in developing a PR plan that ultimately focuses on the power of the Kingdom of God, and not the individual's sin.

Educating and guiding the congregation in dealing with the many emotional and spiritual reactions. This includes addressing the separate, and ofter very different reactions demonstrated by adults, youth, and children. Where appropriate, this includes the delivery of sermons addressing the crisis in a biblical manner and providing concrete steps for the church body to take to deal with the situation in a Christ-like manner.

In the unfortunate case where the offending individual is not repentant, assist in ensuring that the priciples of Matthew 18 are complied with in seeking repentance and, if the individual is still rebellious, separating them from fellowship.
Preventative Consultations can be arranged in the DFW region within 5 business days.
Knights' Quest can normally respond to a crisis event within the lower 48 States
within 24-72 hours.
