There is EVIL out there . . .
LOTS OF IT!!!
According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, one in five children, 10-17, who use the internet have been sexually solicited. One in four have encountered unwanted pornography.1 This does not even count those young people who are actively seeking out pornography due to adolescent curiosity!
Where NAPSTER™allowed people easy access to music files, new technologies are providing instant access to hardcore pornographic video files. These range in content from conventional sexual activity to extremely deviant behaviors.
Arrests by the FBI Cyber-Crime Task Force include raids on homes where children are either illegally sharing music, downloading child pornography, or hacking systems.
In addition, TV programs such as TO CATCH A PREDATOR continue with constant reports of sexual and violent predators preying on children via chat rooms, Instant Messaging, E-mail, and social networking sites such as MySpace® and XANGA® .

Unfortunately, the avenues that lead to our children keep multiplying. Both predators and the pornography industry adopt the latest and greatest technologies almost as soon as they hit the market. Parents who are focused on their children's use of the computer are now flanked by the enemys' use of game consoles and handheld devices. The battlefield is constantly changing, and it's hard to keep up.
Just as we get used to one threat, another one pops up.
